i have had this song (beachchair by jay-z) stuck in my head for oh, about fifteen hours now. and now i am trying dissect this song. he says “life is but a beach chair” and i find myself thinking what is the purpose of this metaphor ? what is jay z trying to tell me about life ? i think okay, qualities of a beach chair … cold and metal and flimsy … and on...
